Greg Tylka brings over a quarter of a century of Southern California commercial real estate experience to Anacapa Realty Investments. His diverse background includes performing site location work & managing the corporate real estate department for the largest privately held Southern California based community bank, California National Bank. In this role, Greg effectuated over 150 transactions, as both tenant and landlord, including traditional office and retail leases & subleases, ground leases, acquisitions & dispositions and lease terminations.
Prior to that Greg held asset management and corporate finance positions for two Southern California based real estate development firms. As a Senior Development Manager with The Ratkovich Company in Los Angeles, he was responsible for all aspects of the repositioning of a 930,000 square foot former corporate head quarters into a fully amenitized multi-tenant office project, including development, leasing and property management. While at Koll Development Company in Newport Beach, Greg oversaw finance responsibilities for the Western US Region, which included working externally with potential debt & equity providers. In addition, he was responsible for the approval of all Regional pre-development commitments, new equity investments, JV agreements, major lease transactions & dispositions.
As Senior Manger/Practice Leader of KPMG’s property tax consulting practice for the south-west United States, Greg directed all facets of this $6,000,000 45-member consulting practice. His first position in the commercial real estate industry was as an investment real estate broker with Marcus & Millichap, where he advised clients in the acquisition and disposition of multi-family investments.
Greg’s extensive and distinctive experience allows him to uniquely consider and address most all aspects of a real estate asset and transaction on behalf of Anacapa Realty Investments investor clients.
